SKILLS FOR LIFE
Our Skills for Life programme offers a direct approach to promotion, engagement and delivery of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills that highlights opportunity for all. It describes the benefits that learning and qualifications can bring, and encourages people to believe that they can progress.
We offer the opportunity to help you improve your English, Maths and ICT skills. The focus is on gaining qualifications and progressing into a job, rather than on people’s problems and asks the positive question:
"Would an English, Maths or ICT qualification help you to move on and get a job?" This is focusing on the positive rather than the negative, "Have you got problems with your reading, writing, maths and ICT?"
We can deliver these services from our centres in Manchester and Salford, in the Employer’s workplace under Apprenticeships or Train to Gain.
