Jobcentre Plus Support Contract

Standguide are pleased to announce that they have secured the contract to directly deliver the Jobcentre Plus Support Contract across the whole of Greater Manchester and also as a subcontractor to Reeds in Cheshire Halton and Merseyside.

These contracts enable us to work with anyone who is unemployed and claiming Jobseekers Allowance from day one of unemployment up to 12 months unemployed. We will be giving seminars on how to complete an effective CV, how to get the best from an interview, how to approach companies on a speculative basis for vacancies, how to complete application forms effectively and specialist support will be given to Lone Parents and Carers.

Flexible New Deal

We are delighted to confirm that we have been chosen to work in partnership with SERCO to deliver Flexible New Deal Phase 1 contracts in Greater Manchester Central, East and West. Flexible New Deal is the UK government’s new flagship initiative to assist long-term unemployed people to achieve and sustain employment. Serco’s delivery strategy for Flexible New Deal is to subcontract all front-line delivery to a network of subcontractors. We are delivering these services across Greater Manchester and have centres in Manchester Piccadilly, Wythenshawe, Salford, Trafford, Bolton and Wigan.
